Hi there, have you ever heard about Melaka river cruise…yes?...no?....
Ahhhh..........hh.h.h..hhh
Well never mind, for today diary I am going to share about Melaka River Cruise….it is a great way to enjoy sightseeing in Melaka.
Well, the Melaka River is the river that cut across Melaka
and has the main role in showing Melaka’s wonderful history.
The cruise tour takes about 45 minutes and cover up to 9 km in
boats ranging from 20 to 40 seats. Along the tour the tourist can enjoy the
scenery of Melaka, heritage building and enjoy the painted building with
colourful murals that showing different aspects of Melaka.
Where to catch the cruise???...
There are two jetties. The tourists can begin their cruise
from Muara Jetty or Taman Rempah Jetty. Muara jetty is next to Quayside
Heritage Centre which close to Maritime Museum that can easily notice by the
replica of the Portuguese ship Flor De La Mar.
Taman Rempah Jetty is located next to Hang Jebat Bridge that
near to Jalan tun Mutahir to Jalan Tun Sri Lanang. The cruise will as same
journey as Muara Jetty. By the way, it
is open daily from 9am to 11.30 pm and the price for the ticket is from RM 5 to
RM 10 for children and adult.
In the journey, the tour will pass the Kampung Morten, Kampung Jawa, Pirate Park, Clock Tower and others landmarks. If you are lucky enough you will have the chance to enjoy the fireworks while having the tour in Melaka River Cruise.
