Hi there, now let’s continue our journey to Johor. Basically, Johor is one of Malaysian state, located in the southern portion of Peninsular Malaysia and it is one of the most developed states in Malaysia. Did you know Johor is also known with its wonderful nature attraction and one of the attractions that I’m going to share with you is ENDAU ROMPIN NATIONAL PARK. 




This place is special for visitors who want to experience the jungle in its natural form. Endau Rompin national Park is rich in all kinds of flora and fauna. If you are lucky you’ll be found unique plants and will struck by the natural beauty that is rarely able to see in the city. It is form from the watershed of the rivers Endau in Johor and Rompin in Pahang and made up of a tropical rainforest. 



This place is well known because it is the second largest national park in the Peninsula after Taman Negara. I know, this fact is really amazing and let’s continue some facts stated that it is one of the few remaining lowland forest in Malaysia and possibly the OLDEST. Let’s look at this picture…..

Basically, there’ll be lot of experiences that we can gain if we experience it by ourselves…by visit such nature attraction we could be more grateful, appreciate the nature and will have an initiative to protect the nature. Lastly, if you all ready to gain adventurous experience take that opportunity to visit Endau Rompin National Park in Johor you will never regret it.

..East Coast..

Hello everyone..^_^
Do you know that the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia is made up of  Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang..? I bet everyone must know right.. (“,)

Today I just want to talked about one of the east coast of Malaysia that is famous for its natural attraction and beautiful destination which is Kelantan. There is an area that caught my attention that makes me want to share about the place. Do you know where it is….?^^              
                 
                                           


The place is Gunung Stong State Park. Gunung Stong, formerly known as Jelawang Jungle is now named as state park since 2005 and is one of the popular eco-tourism in Malaysia. It stands 1.442 metre tall and house many wildlife and flora and fauna. Gunung Stong State Park is a forested mountainous area. This park is surrounded by various mountains like Gunung Ayam, Gunung Tera, Gunung Saji, etcetera and has many rivers and caves. The total area covered by this park is more than 20,000 hectares.

This dense forest is a home for a variety of wildlife like deer, elephants, tigers and various kinds of birds. You can find unique flora and fauna, including the largest flower of the world, Rafflesia. A great place for bird watchers, this park consists of more than 100 species of birds. Base of mountain Gunung Stong is the best spot to watch birds.

This park also consists of various caves which are around 225-million years old. These caves are collectively known as the Dabong limestone caves. However, the major attraction of this park is the Stong Falls. The falls considered to be the highest waterfall in the Southeast Region is 495 above sea Level. This Park is the best place for an adventurer and nature lover as it provides wonderful treks. 

 Places of interest is trap door spider, bamboo area, track down animal tracks, rock shelter, seven level waterfalls, Princess Well and panoramic view and sunrise from a top of First Waterfall.


Place to stay, there is Gunung Stong Resort  available and also a campsite is available for overnight stays. You can use the park for a day trip or camp a night or more at the top of the waterfall. The park entrance fee is RM7. You can either head to the base of the falls and take a dip in the small pool or continue to the top of Gunung Stong. The campground is located at the top of the waterfall and provides huts for RM10. 


For all travelers out there who are interested to visit and explore this place, there are two ways to get there by rode and ride on the train.Who are by road that coming from Kuala Lumpur, you can take the North-South Highway and exist at Kuala Kangsar. From there, follow Gerik and head on to East-West highway to Jeli. From there, head towards Dabong. For who ride on the train. At KL Sentra Station, board the express train to Kota Bahru, and it will lead you through small towns including Dabong. Get off at Dabong and cross Sungai Galas and head towards Jelawang, which is approximately 3km away.  

There are also places nearby for tourists to visit such as the Handicraft Village and Craft Museum and Pantai Bisikan Bayu, is just a scenic 50km drive south of Kota Bharu, Kelantan's capital.
 March to October is the best time to visit, as the rainfall and humidity levels are at their lowest and temperatures pleasant.

A Wonderful Journey visiting Perak




Hey nature lovers!!
Perak is one of the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia with an area of over 21,000 sq.km. Perak has blessed with many natural tourists attractions and famous with their nature view for visitors. Have you even heard about Kampung Dew?. Perhaps some of you maybe said “Where’s that place?” or maybe some of you might had been there or maybe there are a few of you that had been heard about that place. Kampung Dew (Kuala Sepetang) is located at Simpang Ampat Semanggol which is near Taiping, Perak.
Here, lets me tell you guys that there are Kampung Dew in Perak that famous with natural attractions about firefly. Fireflies at Kampung Dew is from species of Pteroptyx tener which is a species that almost wiped out. Kampung Dew fireflies is one of three of the most important fireflies sanctuaries in the world. Other two is at Kuala Selangor and Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee, US. The fireflies at there will perched on species of mangrove trees, that local resident called “ Pokok Berembang” (Souneratia caseoraris) which is indigenous to the mangrove swamps of the tropics. There are hundreds of Berembang trees had been planted in order to help conserve the fireflies by the riverside.
For visitors to see the fireflies at Kampung Dew, there are available for tourists to take a boat tour along the river mangrove forests. There are three packages which is package Boat A: Big Tour Boat for 25 passenger with minimum RM300 or RM30 per person, the duration time is four hours. The boat is  big, comfortable and convenient for the visitors.  The second package is package Boat B: Outboard boat with 15 passenger with minimum RM200, the duration time is three hours. The boat complete with well equipment of outboard engine boat with roof and life buoy. Package Boat C: Outboard Engine Boat with minimum RM200 with 10 passenger. The boat have roof and bench and the duration time for the tour is an hour.
What can you see and learn from this trip is the flora and fauna at that place, know about mangrove forest, fireflies,  see beautiful sunset and also see fisherman village. Nowadays, there are just a few fisherman village that we can see. Visitors can know more and learn about the job of local residents at there. Besides fireflies, visitors can join another activities such as lobster fishing, fish trawl, catching crabs, luckily crocodiles sighting and birds. This place is suitable for you who really love nature. Moreover, the city would not have all this. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, come here and feel the experience at Kampung Dew fireflies.
How you guys can go to that place?. There are a lot of alternative transportation for visitors to go to the Kampung Dew. For those who ride a car you can use PLUS highway to the north south exit Ipoh-Taiping. For those who are comfortable with airline, you can board the plane at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and reach at Penang International Airport. A domestic flight from KL to Penang only takes about an hour and it just a half hour drive from Penang International Airport to Kampung Dew. Bus and train also available for those who are want challenging environment. You have to catch a train at KL Sentral Station and get off at Taiping Railway Station. From there, only takes 10 minutes to get at fireflies jetty, Kampung Dew. For those who want to take a bus,  you can catch a bus from KL to Taiping, and you will arrive at Kamunting bus station. The journey only takes about four to five hours. Then, from Kamunting to Kampung Dew only takes 20 minutes.
There are also places nearby for tourists to visit such as Kuala Gula Bird Sanctuary, The Charcoal Factory Kuala Sepetang, Bukit Merah Lake town Resort, Taiping Lake Garden and Bukit Larut. At Kuala gula Bird Sanctuary you can see and learn about many types of birds at there. The Charcoal factory Kuala Sepetang is a place that you can see how they make the charcoal. Bukit Merah Lake town Resort is a water theme park. You guys can have a lot of fun at here. Taiping lake Garden famous with the scenic beauty, and this place suitable for tourist to hang out, relax, enjoy the scenery, and do some leisure activities. What activities you can do at Bukit Larut is jungle trekking and camping. It suitable for the tourist that love this kind of activities.
Where can you guys stay?. Hey backpackers, do not worry about that. There are home stay Kuala Gula nearby Kampung Dew. It just take 20 minutes from Kampung Dew to the home stay. If you want more comfortable place, you guys can try stay at Bukit Merah Lake town Resort which is near highway Gunung Semanggol. It takes around 30 minutes to arrive at Kampung Dew fireflies.
“Kuala Sepetang Prawn Noodles” are famous places for you guys to take a break and fill your tummy with this delicious food. It’s just a regular store, but there are many visitors come to the shop. Probably because of the popularity of word of mouth about the pleasantness of this prawn noodles. Here are the address, Mak Jah Prawn Noodles, Kampung Menteri, Kuala Sepetang, 34650 Taiping, Perak.

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur.



What’s up my lovely backpackers? Still craving for more adventure?Well, as your captain, this time I’ll be taking you a tour to Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital city is a home to people with different races, culture and religion.

When we talked about Kuala Lumpur, there’s a lot of places that we can visit, but certainly we can’t leave  Petronas Twin Towers behind. Petronas Twin Towers is the eye of Kuala Lumpur and the pride of the nation. This magnificent monument symbolising the vision and growth of a nation. The twin towers measuring up to 58.4 metres in length and standing tall at 170 metres above street level. These towers are supported by a three-hinged arch located at level 29 of each tower. It plays huge role in facilitating movement between the two towers. These towers have 88 levels. The two towers are linked by the sky bridge at levels 41 and 42 and have an annexe that reaches the 44th  floor which attached to each tower. Its pinnacles house the warning lights and external building maintenance equipment. Each pinnacle is made up of a spire ring ball, a 23 segmented mast and a ring ball.

Sky bridge offers the exciting experience to its visitors. Situated at level 41, standing tall at the high of 170 metres, visitors can see the whole city that became the heart of the Malaysia. Visitors who walked along this bridge will feel like they are walking in the sky and it is indeed a very interesting experience.

Visitors also can have fun exploring the observation deck located at level 86. What so great about this deck is visitors can enjoy the breath taking view around the towers and free themselves far from the hustle bustle of city’s life. Visitors also can discover the fascinating facts about the twin towers displayed on the video wall, and the KL city and KLCC development models at the observation deck. Visitors can experience the latest technology that gives them to fully experience the place.

Visiting the twin towers would be meaningless without buying its souvenirs. The Petronas Twin Towers Gift Shop is located just opposite the Petronas Twin Towers ticketing area. Visitors can choose a lot of quality merchandise and souvenirs.

The visiting hours of the place is every Tuesday to Sundays at 9 a.m to 7 p.m. the first entry is at 9 am and the last entry is at 6 pm. Every Fridays the place closed from 1 pm to 2.30 pm and every Mondays it is closed.

Beneath the Petronas Twin Towers is Suria KLCC, Malaysia’s premier shopping destination which offers the latest in fashion and entertainment. Here, Visitors can shop to their heart’s content. There are many international and national labels that will amaze the visitors such as Gucci, Prada, Chanel and others. Suria KLCC is a luxurious mall with 320 stores segmented to many section to men and women’s fashion, jewelleries, footwear and a lot more offers to its visitors. Did you know that Nearly 40 million visitors visit the mall every year, making it one of the busiest malls in Malaysia. Not only Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur also offers many other places for shopping. Places such as Pavillion, Berjaya Times Square, Fahrenheit88 was also one of the famous shopping complex in Malaysia.

For some relaxation, visitors can go to KLCC park which situated closed to Suria KLCC shopping centre. The park was designed to give a touch of greenery view to the Petronas Twin Towers and areas surround it. Lake Symphony is the reason most people frequent the park; it has water fountains that can shoot water up to a height of 42m. These daily water shows occur at noon and in the evenings.

Petrosains is a 7,000sqm interactive science discovery centre on the fourth floor of Suria KLCC. Opened in 1999, the complex is largely dedicated to the field of petroleum, and presents science and technology in a fun and entertaining way.With a collection of everything from space age exhibits to fossils, this hands-on interactive science museum is divided into 11 showcases, with its first gallery devoted to PETRONAS, in the form of a Sauber PETRONAS F1 racing car.

Located in Suria KLCC, the PETRONAS Art Gallery is home to over 1,000 local and international, traditional and contemporary works of art ranging from paintings and photographs to costumes and crafts. it was established in 1993 to support the development of art in Malaysia. The non-profit gallery has a programme of changing art, craft and design exhibitions so each visit is a unique experience.

Opened in 1998, the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) is Malaysia’s first dedicated classical music concert hall. Home to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), the 920-seat jewellery box-shaped room is located between the PETRONAS Twin Towers and KLCC Park. it has hosted some of the world’s leading artists and orchestras including legendary cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, Harry Connick Jr. and world-renowned orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and more.

if you like fishes, take a journey to the Aquaria, a place where you can felt like living in the undersea heaven. you can dream of becoming a mermaid or cute little nemo.

there are plenty of hotel in kuala lumpur but the closest to petronas twin towers is oriental hotel and lots more.
